When the Food Starts to Shift, So Do You!
As your soul awakens, so does your appetite for nourishment. Here’s how food evolves when you align with your path and start truly listening.

When the Food Starts to Shift, So Do You (Or maybe it’s the other way around…)
There was a time when I ate what I thought I should—food that fit the schedule, the budget, the cravings, or the culture around me. I didn’t think about nourishment. I thought about convenience. Or control. Or comfort.
And then something began to stir.
The shift didn’t come from a doctor’s visit or a new diet trend. It came from somewhere deeper. Somewhere quiet. I started to crave… differently.
Not just in my belly, but in my soul.
I wanted clarity instead of caffeine. Warmth instead of white sugar. I didn’t want to be numb anymore—I wanted to feel. I didn’t want to restrict—I wanted to remember.
And I started to notice: as I got more honest about who I was and what I was here to do… the food on my plate began to change.
The deeper I aligned with my path, the more my body asked for what supported it.
Food became less about rules and more about resonance.
I no longer wanted to be fed—I wanted to be fueled.
And let me be clear: this wasn’t about “clean eating” or moralizing what’s good or bad. It was about attunement. About listening. About realizing that what once felt like comfort now felt like fog. That which used to taste like fun, now felt like static in my system.
I started noticing how certain foods made me feel heavy, not just in my gut, but in my mind, in my energy. And other foods? They made me feel lit from within.
I wasn't trying to be disciplined.
I was trying to be in tune.
When you shift, your body does too.
Sometimes that means:
Letting go of old food identities (yes, even the one who “always orders fries”)
Saying no to wine when your intuition wants water
Releasing the sugar that’s been masking your sadness
Honoring the herbs, the broths, the bitter greens that speak to your healing
Sometimes it means eating more—more-slowly, more-intentionally, more colorfully.
And sometimes it means simply noticing.
Noticing what no longer feels aligned.
Noticing how your digestion mirrors your emotions.
Noticing how your kitchen becomes a sacred space when you allow it to be.
Food as a Frequency Shift
Once I stopped chasing the “right way to eat” and started tuning into what my body—my evolving, awakening, truth-hungry body—actually needed, everything changed.
I stopped eating for the version of me I was trying to manage.
And I started eating for the version of me I was finally becoming.
Food became prayer. Preparation became a ceremony. And the shift? It wasn’t just physical.
It was spiritual.
If you're shifting, you're not crazy for craving differently.
You’re not alone if that soda suddenly feels like static.
If that processed snack feels like it drags down your clarity.
If your body is suddenly asking for warm things, wild things, living things.
You’re not being picky. You’re becoming particular.
You’re not losing your favorite foods. You’re finding your true flavor.
So if your meals are starting to change as your soul awakens, let them.
This is what nourishment looks like when you're walking your path with intention.
Honor your body. Feed your fire. Follow the shift.
